The rest of the story of our trip to Peru..
I am posting some of my notes and thoughts I made in my diary and other things I remember about our trip to Peru where I got married to my wife.. I am going to keep adding to this thread over the coming weeks till I get to the end of our trip..
My Daughter 12 yrs old , son 9 yrs and I traveled to Peru and I got married on December 20 /08 to my beautiful wife.. My wife just turned 33 and I just turned 47 yrs old.
Day 1 of 27 days , We land in Lima at 5.30 am on Sunday Dec 14/04.. We get through Immigration fast and don’t wait to long for our bags.. We walk through customs and don’t get a red light so we keep walking..
Here we go I am thinking my kids get to meet their future Mom for the first time.. There she is waving and yelling to us..My God she is beautiful , I have dearly missed her it has been a long 9 months since I have seen my Novia Roxi..
She comes running towards us but goes to our kids first which makes me happy.
She says Hello and gives her a hug and a kiss on the cheek and gives her a bunch of Pink Roses.. My daughter is very surprised by the flowers and very happy meeting her future Mom.. She turns towards our son and says hello and gives him a big hug and a kiss..My boy has a big huge smile on his face and I am so happy that my kids are happy.
Roxi turns to me and we have a big long hug and many kisses.. My Roxi is crying and very happy and I have a big lump in my throat.. My son starts his commentary , Look at them making out and how do they breath.. lol
Roxi turns to my kids , I will be kissing your Dad 200 times a day is that ok ? My daughter and son say sure and laugh and giggle at that thought..It is 7 am and Roxi’s uncle is with her and he helps with all our bags and we get a Van to drive us Downtown to Miraflores. We are staying at a hotel for 1 night then moving into a Condo for 2 nights.
Roxi’s Parents who are very conservative had made a big allowance and allow Roxi to stay with us in Lima and in Chiclayo before we are married, so that she can help me with the kids in Lima well I run around doing things and so she has time to bond with them.. My kids are the chaperones.. lol
We get to the hotel and get squared away in our room and then go catch breakfast.. After we eat we go down to the room to have a nap.. We have 2 king size beds and our decide that both of them want to sleep with Roxi.. So we all have our pajamas on and down we go to sleep.. I notice that my Novia Pajamas fit very nice and sexy on her.. I get a big long kiss and a hug from Roxi accompanied by lots of giggles and laughing from my kids..
I look over and Roxi is in the middle of the bed and my daughter and my son are both tightly pressed into her and she has a arm around each of them. Roxi smiles at me and mouths Te amo and I do the same to her and I am off to dreamland. I wake up 2 hours later and immediately start laughing. Roxi and my son and daughter are tickling my toes..Later on I find out that is was Roxi idea and my kids loved the idea of tickling me awake..
I give Alan a ring who is a fellow Canadian and the Owner of ExpatPeru.com a forum for expats Living in Peru and for people visiting to Peru with questions.. It is a great forum so check it out.. Alan daughter and son and my daughter and son are the same age.. We decide to meet and go for a late lunch around 1 pm. Alan , his wife and kids are Great people and we have a great lunch and visit with them..
We go back to the hotel and relax.. My kids and Roxi are very comfortable together. My Kids love her accent and her personality.. We go to bed early since we are tired from traveling and I have to get up very early to go to the Canadian Embassy to get all my documents, I need to get married in Chiclayo legalized by the Canadian Embassy..
Well Roxi is in the washroom my kids come up to me and tell me how much they like her and how nice she is..My son says she is cool and he likes all the hugs and kisses she gives both him and his sister.. My Daughter just smiles and with Tears in her eyes says “ We are getting a New Mom and thanks Dad for finding Roxi ,She is so nice and she is beautifulâ€.
As I fall asleep alone in my bed since the kids have declared they are sleeping with Roxi every night till we get married.. Roxi says “ of course amor I will sleep with you and after your Dad and I are married I will put you to sleep every night if you like.. Man o man I am so tired but I feel so happy and exhilarated that we are all going to be a happy family soon.. I am a lucky man..
