Off to Peru in T minus 2 weeks , 5 days , 14 hours , 31 min & 6 sec...

I am stopping in South Florida for 12 hours with my kids and when are having a PL get together at raycjs house with slojas and Dave H in attendance..

My children and I are getting so excited for our trip..

We had a little snafu when the Minister of the church we are renting from changed and the New Minister held us hostage. We are using a Minister from outside Chiclayo and I think the New Minister did not like that.. After I paid a visit to Western Union today that situation is resolved..

Can you believe it I get shaken down by a Pastor.. Man o man I can only laugh at this because it is so sad.. ;D ;D ;D

I am having lots of luck with churches this month .. ;D ;D ;D ;D

My poor Novia Roxi was so upset this week and got sick with stress worrying about the church.. She is much better now that is over with..

My kids and I have gotten all of our Hep A , Typhoid shots.. I highly recommend any traveler to South America go to your local travel clinic and get Dukoral oral Vaccine for the prevention of travellers diarrhea with up to 3 months effectiveness protection..

Man o man this financial crisis sucks big time and my Canadian Dollar is tanking big time.. Since my last trip to Peru my Canadian Dollar has lost approximately 30 % with a drop of 18 % in the last 3 weeks.. OMG

One of the most strongest currencies in the world since this crisis hit us is the friggin Peruvian Nuevo Soles.. Peru has a debt of around US $ 20 billion with over US $ 45 Billion in cash sitting around in the Central Bank.. It has lost only around 2 % to the USA Dollar during this crisis..

I wish the Peruvian soles was like the Colombian Peso and taking a big dive.. I am being selfish and I am glad my future wife's Country is on solid financial ground..

Enough about money now..

I am soon going to be the luckiest man in the world when I get married to my wonderful Novia.. I hope and wish that those of you that have not found a special woman yet that will treat you like a King find her soon someday where ever she is waiting for you..

Anybody that is down in Peru around before Christmas give me a shout if you would like to come to our Wedding in Chiclayo ..

Te amo mi Novia Roxi and Chiclayo , Peru..

sf,

Do you know if Dukoral is available in the US? The searching that I did indicates it's widely available in Canada but I didn't find any references to being prescribed in the US.

SF,

I'm assuming you are getting married in Peru, correct? Good luck and keep us posted. Maybe you could share some wedding pics (?).

Regarding the American ladies who gave you crap about marrying a foreign lady (that you mentioned in a previous post), just remember- usually the bigger the mouth, the bigger the vacuum. I'm sure they will eat their words in the long run.

Good luck.

Zack

Hey SF,

the moments are ticking by and only a short time to go before the  big day. I hope that all goes well for you and your family on this trip and that your wedding be a spectacular success. Your future bride to be sounds wonderful and I wish both of you much happiness. I think that the smiles on your kids faces will be amazing on that day. I really hope you will share some of your photos with us upon your return.

Hey Ray,

It sounds good! I dug my infamous purple thong out of the mothballs and scheduled a Brazilian bikini wax.  ;D It's too late to get into shape.   ::) Are you going to have a bounce house for me and slojas?  :D
