If it was on the weekend I would probably be game since I am right around the corner, but during the week is a little difficult. Especially this week, because I have jury duty.

I think we have a lot of SoCal guys here?

I'll be there. Stephen has an 8:30 court appearance in Victorville, so unless he gets totally hung up, he and Tess will show. We've met there in the past. I have to take off a little before 1:00 for an afternoon meeting, but I can get plenty of dim sum packed away in an hour and a half.

I like Victorville Court. . . . but Rancho and Pomona are my more regular haunts with enough SB Central,Pasadena, Lamoreaux (sp) and LA thrown in for variety

I am in house tying up loose ends and then in Ontario in the mid to late afternoon so I have the time and inclination to eat!!!

Well- The first occasional meeting took place at the Seafood Palace in Westminster as planned. Sorry to Brian as we were already out and about when his email came in.

Seafood Palace is well-known for its dimsum lunch and it still lives up to its reputation.

There were four of us there. Two attorneys, an engineer and a charming Filipina. Unfortunately a 90 minute lunch was not enough time to really get to know people but there was interesting discourse on several subjects about international dating, immigration, successes and failures as well as the personal interests of the members.

We decided that we will be looking at another lunch in early February. It will be at the same place and we will post again in January for the next lunch. . .


Hope to see a few more for an awesome lunch. . . .
