Any new info on Mexican Dream Tours???
« on: November 03, 2007, 05:52:01 PM »
Hey guys, I know this topic is in the Flame room, but I need to have some exposure here.  I am trying to do an honorable thing here and need some assistance.  My girlfriend who I met in Cali in 2004 is on this website, my request is simple.  I want my girlfriend removed from this website, telephone calls do not help, I tried emailing them but they are always returned.  For those who would like to know, her name is Aura Maria, on Mexican Dream Tours she is # 676, these pictures were either lifted, stolen or sold to this agency.  And I do not really care how they recieved her pics, I just need them removed for her.  Any ideas on how I can contact these people and get some action?  And preferably not having to hire Jesus to bust some knee caps. ;)  Thanks Guys

Call them and leave a message that you are interested in purchasing a package and you are ready to send them money.  That should at least get you a call back from the scum.  Then you can try to persuade them, with or without Jesus.  If you've already left your phone number earlier when trying to get a hold of them, leave a different phone number on this message so they hopefully don't see the connection.  Try a cell or a skype number.

Good luck

Knowing how honorable these guys are calling them probably won't do any good.  Send them a letter certified mail.  (I assume you have their address in Scottsdale, AZ...If not I can PM you the info.)  In the letter ask them to remove the photo immediately upon receipt of the letter or you will take legal action.  If they don't respond you would have to take legal action.  The good news is you may be able to take care of this in small claims court and without a attorney representing you.  Having said that I would talk to an attorney just to get some advice on exactly what the letter should say and what course of action you should pursue.

On another note if you could somehow prove that all the profiles were fake, there may be a way to shut down the site entirely.  But since I am not an attorney don't ask me how to go about it.

Thank You, that is good advice.  I will send them a letter, and strongly ask them to honor my girlfriend.  This practice is widespread , and is damaging to the industry.  There have been so many positives that have some from the opportunities that are available to us by reliable and trustworthy people.  I am personally thankful for the good people who introduced my fiance and myself.  Again thank you for your responses, Derrick

Don't even waste your time with any more phone calls or threatenig letters.

I would just hire a good hacker to get into their site, remove your girl's profile, and then trash the place into oblivion.

No William, you can't PM the Big Sausage.

The only way to contact a weenie is by Weenie Phone...

FWIW, you could contact GoDaddy.com, the registrar and Brandfinity.com, the server and file a complaint with them about this bogus site.

Derrick,

The other thing you may want to do is warn people off by posting in the Latin General Discussion forum, and explaining your experiences.

We also have a "Reviews" section (http://www.planet-love.com/index.php?ind=reviews), where you can add a review - positive, neutral, or negative.

I hope this helps.

- Dan
