calling Colombia

I have been talking to a girl thru email and she has now given me her number
can you tell me if it has enough numbers (52-555-5555 example) do i dial 011 and then
her 9 numbers. Thanks for your help

Look in the front of your phone book. There is a section about international calling. 011+country code+number is the normal way to do it. You can also check here: http://www.howtocallabroad.com/

Depends if it's a land line or a cell phone.

I know for calling barranquilla it's 011-5, then her nine numbers, like.... 011-5(75-xxx-xxxx.)  If it's a cell phone then it's 011- then 10 numbers...like 011-315-xxx-xxxx.

011-make an international call
57-country=Colombia
c - city code: 1=Bogota; 2=Cali; 7=Bucarmanga; can't remember the others offhand
###-####=individual local phone number

Don't forget that 10-10-xxx 011-57-c-###-### (where xxx is a private 'dial around' long distance service. Some are 220, 123, 321 and there are others) is much cheaper than just dialing direct, and calling cards (available in ethnic oriented restaurants and stores and also via the internet) are even cheaper.
