I-129F form
« on: September 25, 2007, 08:18:53 AM »
I am completing the I-129F paperwork right now and there is a question #11 that asks if I have ever filed this form for any other fiance or wife before.  And if so, "give names, place and date of filing, A# and result".

I was married to a Filipina...and used the I-130 form for spousal visa.  I do not have any of the filing information such as the "A" number.  She has it all in a file.  We are divorced now.  And she will not give it to me.  Is there a way I can find out this information online or something?

Thanks.

With the information you have, I would just check YES and enter the full name with place and date of filing. If you don’t know the date for sure, at least try to put month/year. Even just the year should be O.K.

Example:

First/middle/last name, spouse I-130, CSC 07/02, Approved (A# Unknown)

The enclosed copy of your divorce decree will provide more information to support this entry.
