Arrests Made in Grisly Murder of New York Woman in Panama
Friday, April 13, 2007

Three people are in custody in connection with the brutal murder of a wealthy Staten Island, N.Y., woman, whose badly burned and mutilated body was found Tuesday near a soccer field in Panama City, Panama.

Toni Grossi-Abrams, who was in Panama hoping to open a bed and breakfast in the area, was last seen leaving a casino on Monday evening. Her charred body was found the next morning by children playing soccer in the Rio Abajo section of Panama City, miles from her apartment, according to a report in Panama America.
If you don't take care of your woman, someone else will.  (Bundy)

Hello people,

the latest news on this case is that the police have a few people in custudy. They arrested a american woman, and a man, who is either panamanian or colombian, i am not sure. Also they are looking for two colombian men, belived to be the persons who dismembered the lady.

In the expat forums in panama, people are wondering what could have caused such a horible crime; business gon bad, fraude, etc etc.

No, but I do find it interesting that several Colombians are involved. What does that tell you?
