Two for one...
« on: April 09, 2007, 04:32:10 PM »
Hi guys,

yesterday i was chatting with a friend of mine, she was complaining that there were no good guys around, so as a joke i told her that i would get divorced and then we could go setady. She said, and i Quote.. ^Nick, you are a wonderful guy, and you woul make me very happy, i know that..BUT..you have two kids, and i dont want to be somones stepmom^

I was shocked! I never thought a woman, would say something like that. Then i thought about it, i am 35, she is 23, i have two kids, she has none...what the heck! i understand her. Imagen having to deal with the ex wife, the step kids, etc etc, Off course she wouldnt like to go steady whith a guy like me.

So, this brings out my point, do not over estimate your quality as a man for latin women. Just because you are white, have deasent money, and can bring them to a better life..they might dump you, if you have kids, the same as we men, might not like a woman with children.

i think i have been very blind, to this.

I guess guys that have kids must have gotten used to them and forgotten what it's like not to have them around. I can't see there being many people of any gender that would want to jump into that responsibility for someone else's. I would not mind having outside kids coming around after I have had my own, but before!?! No chance at all. Kids may be all cute and cuddly, but to say they are not naturally a huge responsibility, and pains in the ass as often as they are adorable is either being blinded by the pitter patter or lying to yourself. Who would want to raise someone else's kids unless they are already raising some of their own anyway? I know they exist, but they can't be the majority.

Expecting someone to buy into that before they have had their own will, IMHO, be a 70% chance or higher of being given a wake up call.

Especially about the White part.

It's getting a little embarrassing to read how White gringos have a leg up over other ethnic gringos (or even other ethnic nationals).:-[ If White guys were such a hot commodity, then there'd be such a mass migration of Miami's finest tracking to North Dakota that the trail would be visible from outer space. One mass, salsa chain dance. A "trail of salsa," if you will.

Yet, the most likely hottie our frostbitten Dakotans can expect a visit from any time soon has the wrong hole at its center and comes a dozen to a box.

Thanks, Doombug. I figured with Nicks being from Sweden, he may have forgotten about the "rest" of us. I am glad you brought that to his attention.

Appreciation point for ya!

You say that now, but when your perfecto dream chica comes swinging her sexy childbearing, hips up to you, your ass will be sucking-up and telling her how you love her kids and would be honored to help her raise hers…and how you always felt that way! LOL  BTW nice avatar, but I still liked that funky 3D one best.

Nicks, I can completely see how a young childless woman would want absolutely nothing to do with a soon to be aging man and HIS children.  Why would she, unless that man is damn special, which damn few of us are, except for old Monty!  8)

FT, you are so enthusiatic about it, you almost make me want to change my mind, but when I was about 23, one of my best friend's asked me, "What if your perfect woman had kids?" (As you can see, I have been of this frame of mind for awhile). I told him without even thinking about it, "If she were my perfect woman, she wouldn't have any kids." I don't dislike kids, it's the opposite, but I don't get all teary eyed over the fact that they are kids either. I have never had any of my own, so I am sure that will change when I do. I know how I am with kids and I do not want to get attached to any that aren't mine. If things don't work out with their mother, I don't have to worry about not seeing them ever again if they are my own. They will be a part of me and that will never change no matter what happens.

I have many reasons for feeling the way that I do and I now know that I am never going to change my mind on that subject, but I also understand that this is my personal opinion and others feel strongly about theirs and those opinions differ.

Monty, how about an update and your view of life in BAQ now that you have been there for months?

to quote Jerry Maguire "i was shoplifting the puddie from a single mother."  8)  She was stunning but in the end her two year old was a major pain in the ass so i said never again to single mothers.  As you all know there are PLENTY of STUNNING SINGLE MOTHERS in Colombia but i said no to all of them.  I just cant deal with somebody else's kids.
