holy week

here is a word to the wise - never travel anywhere in Latin America during Semana Santa. It is worse than New Year's in Cali. The town is closed, no booze and even the ho's are on strike. Besides, the climate blows this time of year in San Jose. Live and learn.
Red Bull may give you wings, but if Flakes could fly - BAQ is in fact an airport

lol.....My girl told me the same thing last night (no, not about the striking ho's), but about Cali being literally shut down for the week.  She has no internet access to write me  >:(  and no way to replenish her grandfathers whiskey supply!

Well, I´m here in Cali right now and it wasn´t so bad yesterday. True a lot of stores were closed but there are parks etc, that I saw with my girlfriend. I stocked up on beer before the stores closed and the food court was open at Palmeto mall on Friday.
