Coming to Barranquilla soon?
« on: March 13, 2007, 01:23:46 PM »
Is anyone coming to Barranquilla in the next month?  My wife wants to order some duck shaped soaps for her baby shower (40 total), but the shipping to Colombia along with import tax is really high.  So if I can ship it to someone and they can bring it down for me, it would be great.  If needed, I'll tip. :)

Let me know.

If you don't find anyone who can bring them, try shipping through this company:

They haven't let me down yet and they are more than reasonable.

I would bet that is shipping thru the company itself and they would include insurance because it would be going to Colombia. I would try to see if you could get someone just to ship it to you thru the states, it might be cheaper.

Everything is included in the price per pound. No add-ons.

Hey that is a really good plug for a shipping company.  I shipped a 5 lb box a couple months ago.  when I went to the fancy places like UPS, FEDEX it was going to cost $150 or more.  I finally went through the regular USPS and spent $50 and prayed it would actually get there.  Well it did about a month later.  So thanks for the link for this company

Hi Mont., I was turned onto JJ LOGISTICS by Jim of calipenthouse over a year ago, Jim's a great guy with lots of resources. Raphael there is awsome. Of several ton's of stuff i've shipped so far, only 1 light has been broken. They do a door to door service. They are in miami, i ship directly to them from all the dot com sites (costco, sams', etc) and they deliver to my door in 3-4 days after it hits miami..

So far so good.. good luck
