another phone service question

my wife doesn't have high speed internet so i can't use vonage. i read on another forum about crossfone, unlimited calls to colombia for $35/month. has anyone used this? how is the quality?

JK, I am assuming that you are in the USA and your wife is in Colombia. If so, have you looked at www.skype.com? Calls are cheap to landlines. Also, if she goes to the cafe (high speed), you can talk for free.

Skype requires high speed internet as well;  Vonage requires around 120 KB a second; Skype doesn't specify but does require probably a similar bandwith or more.  I've had problems with Skype doing conference calls but single calls are pretty good.
