Liquid ban still in efect?

To anyone that has flown recently, are liquids/gels still banned from carry on baggage?  Wondering what to do with my deodorant, cologne, mouth wash, etc.  Could you just pack them in your "checked baggage", or are they off limits to?

yeah they are still banned...you can have up to 3 ounce containers in a clear plastic bag...
when I boarded my connection in panama I had a bottle of water but just as I was about to board the plane to the US I got yanked from line and they checked my carryone once again and took my water away...I was surprised I made it that far without losing it, I was literally moments from getting on the plane, it was very out of the ordinary...I WAS going to comment here how easy it was to smuggle liquids...

you can put those harmless liquids in checked baggage, no problem with that.

went through Miami International at the end of Oct and yep everything got yanked going through security had to buy it all again in Colombia
