Anybody have personal dealings with Mr Cupid?
« on: December 23, 2006, 12:08:33 AM »
Hi,

I am thinking about signing up for a Mr Cupid wife finding tour in Vietnam. Has anybody ever personally dealt with Mr Cupid? What are the positive aspects and negative aspects with a matchmaking tour in Vietnam with Mr Cupid? Here is the URL to Mr Cupid's website:

http://www.mr-cupid.com

BTW, if you have never been on a tour with Mr Cupid, please do not post any flames about how I must be an evil chauvinist. I get enough of that from my female friends and family. If a woman looks out for number 1, it's, "You go girlfriend!" but if a man looks out for number 1, he's suddenly an evil chauvinist. Again, I would really appreciate personal experiences. I don't need any baseless "2 cents" opinions without personal experiences. Thanks in advance and much appreciation.

Cheers,
drjoker69.

Sorry, I never heard of this outfit. But the price seems very steep.  :-\

My guess is that you're not going to find anyone here with personal experiences with that agenciy, but will find plenty who have very strong opinions about an agency who has no qualms about charging you tens of thousands of dollars while promising to change your life in 6 days.  But since you don't need any baseless opinions, be sure to let us know how it works out, as if we don't already know.

Lots of negative crap about Vietnam marriage agencies in Thailand these days. Sweet little farm girls bailing out on their husbands and stuff like that.

Major scam busted by USCIS on Viet agencies last year. Phoney K1 visa operations.

Lots of split families due to the old refugee (PIP) program and aging out daughters left behind.

Vietnam has more than its share of problems in the romance department these days.

Look at the guarantee- if she dont show, you get to go find another one for free.

I think I would be Mr. Stupid if I were to use Mr. Cupid.

As far as site design goes, I've seen better graphics in the bottom of my cat's litter box--after he's dropped his luggage! :o

Maybe the first sucker to pony up $13k covers the revamp.

I was caught up in a fever
In that summer of ‘69
And my heart was cryin’ out for change
And I knew time was comin’ when I’d get away.

So I moved down to that city
Where I met a friend of mine
And I must admit he tried to warn me well
With all those bad luck stories he could tell.

He said "Take the money and run,
Take the money and run
Believe it, in this town you can’t trust anyone
You’re gonna learn that lesson my son".

"Take the money and run,
Buy yourself a place in the sun
Don’t be a fool, don’t you trust anyone
You gotta take the money and run, take the money and run".

He was broken, he was wasted
He’d been brought down to his knee
And his heart was crying out for truth
You could see the whole world’s sadness in his eyes.

So I took good care of business
At least as far as I could see
I could read the signs and I knew all the lines
But so many times his voice came back to me.

"Take the money and run,
Get it at the point of a gun
Believe it, in this town you can’t trust anyone
You’re gonna learn that lesson my son".

"Take the money and run,
Buy yourself a place in the sun
Don’t be a fool, don’t you trust anyone
You gotta take the money and run, take the money and run".

I’ve been wanderin’ through this wasteland
Where the blind go leading the blind
And the only sound on the money-go-round
Was the million voices waiting to be found.

I could only hear a whisper
It was comin’ from the one I loved
And her heart was saying this can’t be right
All my wasted days and all her lonely nights.

Take the money and run,
Get it at the point of a gun
Believe it, n this town you can’t trust anyone
You’re gonna learn that lesson my son.

Take the money and run,
Buy yourself a place in the sun
Don’t be a fool, don’t you trust anyone
You gotta take the money and run, take the money and run.

I agree with Jeff.  In real life, things don't work this way. Relationships take love, and "love" is spelled TIME!
