After not such a good experinece in Baq, thought about Cali, does anyone know any good decent agencies there in Cali, i heard many where on the decline, and really wanted to avoid Medellin.
The agency in Baq was great, cannot fault it what so ever, ran a good service, it was jsut the ladies there, no concept for time, no respect for a guys time, want to pick myself up, brush my self down and move on

Why not try Bogota ?
Professional women tend to be on time because they are accustomed to being on time for there jobs. Several good reputable agencies as well that have been there for many years..Weather is not hot like BAQ or Cali, but the city is vibrant and sophisticated and you will never lack for things to do.

Latin American Introductions (LAI) is good, owned by Nelson Grisales.

You can find plenty of women from Bogota on the Cupid.com sites.  I believe Dennis Levy is a commercial poster for LAI and has left contact info in his posts, so a search should get that info.

it must be in the colombian water . I have had business dealings in about 10- 12 different countreis in CA and SA , and by all means the Colombia's were the worst . I will agree that Bogota is much better  , but they have a much better transit systems than most . I think you will see that Cali will be about the same.

In terms of concept of time, I think you will find this is common in most Colombian cities. Still I think it is good to venture and explore different cities. I can't remember what trip reports have been written on Cali but I have made several trips there and here is a summary:

1) Cali VIP- Agency is now located on Ave Sexta in the north and has a decent database. I haven't been there since they moved from the south but if Paola is still working there (she was waiting for her Visa) you will be in good hands.  Maybe others have more up to date info?..

2) All Colombian Girls- Lots of women in the database but many can not be contacted. The secretaries have changed several times and each time I visit the city, there seems to be new folks at the agency. Ricardo the owner is mostly hands off there, so try and confirm before you go who you are interested in meeting.

There are several folks now getting into the "agency" business, but here are 2 that I know personally and recommend;

1) Isabel- she was a secretary at All Colombian Girls and now runs her own agency. Very sincere and reliable and will tell you the truth about the women; i.e. give her honest opinion. Her website is: http://www.latingirlsofcolombia.com and phone is +57 (2) 6783208

2) Natalia- She also worked at ACG at one time and now is starting her own agency. Speaks english well too and will also assist as a translator if needed. I wonder that also, especially since your gripe is with CPT (Colombian People's Time). I have never been to Medellin, but have a very good friend that lives there, and the transplanted Paisas I have met in my travels have ALL been extremely punctual. I would think that Medellin (which I have always related to New York, with Bogota being more like DC and Cali being LA (Los Angeles)) would have more punctual women. Most other places are pretty much the same as far as time as it's a cultural thing, but I WOULD consider the coast to probably be the worst offenders since they are also affected by the other CPT (Carribean People's Time)...

I'm curious also as to why you would avoid Medellin?  I've been there a few times now and have enjoyed it every time. The city is clean, transportation is excellent and prices are reasonable. I never had any problem with CPT while there.  Just my humble opinion.

why avoid Medellin? probably because the girls there are the worst, don't get me wrong,. i love the  city, but you would have better luck finding a serious girl in Bogota, or smaller cities. a lot of gringos in Medellin now, just having fun, going from one paisa to another, and the mansion down there doesn't help the reputation either. i wont bring up the numerous prepagos in Medellin subject again.

Do you really think that there are more of them in Medellin than Cali? Well, you have to give the paisas credit, they are an enterprising group and always looking for ways to make a dollar (or a peso). I think it is possible for a gringo to find a wife in Medellin but it won't happen cruising the night spots.

oh yes, the paisas are known for being very good at business,enterprising to say the least, they have the reputation of getting $$$ out of anybody jajajaj as my friend told me, 80% of them are only your friend, if they think they can get something out of you, either now, or in the distant future. i have met a few nice girls there, but not very many. you want to find a girl in Medellin, go out in the sticks, get out of the city.

I really like Medellin, the paisas and the paisa women. Of course I am not your normal gringo content with cruising El Poblado's nightspots. I think there are many excellent women there, probably more than anywhere else in the country, but it's just as well that gringos search elsewhere. For the most part I don't think the women of Medellin and gringos who go to Colombia to look for a wife are well-suited to one another.

What I have noticed is the gringos seem to have a white knight complex. They seem to want to pluck some poor little barrio girl up from the gutter and take her to the first class hotel that is the USA. Most paisas I know already think their "hotel" is as good as it gets. They would really prefer that the guy come live with them there. Also they tend to be more reserved and "cooler" than most other Latinas so guys looking for the stereotypical Latina are probably going to be disappointed. They kind of remind me of Bostonians actually. It's not for nothing that Bostonians refer to their town as the Hub as in Hub of the Universe.

I can confirm what rpcv posted. ACG is so/so. I had a lot of down time on my first trip with them. Isabel was there then. I think they have a lot of ringers because Ricardo also operares a modeling agency. I had some quality dates; but the girls at the top of my list were never available.

I had my mind made up to marry this girl. All of her photos show her with big tits. When she took her clothes off her tits disappeared along with her shape. I just couldn't go through with it. I felt bad; but not as bad as if I had married that girl.

Ha Ha!!! Well this just shows you that there are many different perspectives for everything. I have lived in Medellin for 4 years and if anything Medellin is closer to LA then NY. Bogota is closer to NY as it is the Capitol of the country and it is a huge city with everything. I know Soltero has spent a lot of time in Cali and I also lived there 2 years but to me Cali is a lot closer to Miami then LA.
